The Bus

We sometimes take the bus just for the ride!

There was no need
I was not going anywhere

The destination was not important

Arrival meant something
I was travelling again

The bus emptied
The city's seeds flushed
Through the doors
And dripped into a waiting life

I sat on a warmed seat
And wondered
Should I take another bus
Or just stay on this one

This bus I knew the route
I had travelled its routine
And witnessed its contents
And knew what to expect

And I stayed
On my warm seat
With no timetable
And only the excitement of routine

Why do I write a blog?

This is an interesting question which I often pose to myself. I mean I do spend some time thinking about the content and the pics to go with it . It is not something that I make direct money from. You see me naked for free, both visually and mentally. So why?

Well it does raise an interest in some people to pay me a visit. It is a form of advertising.

However, it is not the main reason. I am involved in an area of life where I cannot advertise what I do. I would be foolish to do so. I have family and friends who have no idea what I do. This is frustrating in many ways as I have to lie to people I love and I cannot be proud of being a success in what I do. We all want to be proud of our achievements. I do have many achievements and I do have many skills. Nonetheless, these are not things I can openly discuss.

So I do think I write this to get feedback for my prose and not my pose. For my mental skiils rather than physical ones. To get feedback for the work I do on a keyboard rather than a man's body. So I write and I write in a second language and I crave acceptance for both these skills.
