My super heroes!

Last week I was driving at night from Torvaianica to Casal Palocco. Part of my journey takes me along a winding road that runs between Ostia Pineta.

As I was driving silhouettes appear from the woodland like wood imps from 'Midsummer Nights Dream'. These silhouettes carry torches that are aimed at my car. The lights dazzle. It is a bizzare scene. What makes it even more surreal is that even though the night is very cold the torch carriers wear very little clothes. Some appear nearly naked.

Cars in front of me suddenly slow and we travel along the bumby road very slowly. Cars stop by the side of the road and excited conversations can be seen to be taking place.

As the car slows I can make out more of the silhouettes. Many are dressed as women but are obviously not. But there are women. Women in scanty clothes, waiting in the cold along a dark and eerie woodland road. Amazing!

The interior of the car remains dark and as they cannot see I am a woman the torch light scans my windscreen and they make suggestive body actions.

For me it is not erotic or sexual. All I feel is cold. I hate the cold and the thought of standing alone with nothing on sends shivers through my body. How do they do it? They must be super heroes. And maybe they are. And my imagination conjures up super hero names for some of them. Maybe standing in the dark shining a light at me is Supergobble, Superanal, Superdeepthroat, or even Supertits.

But I suddenly realise I have found my everyday heroes. They should be yours to. Ordinary humans get goosebumps when they stand in the cold, they don't. Ordinary humans get afraid standing in the dark, they don't. Ordinary humans are embarrassed to stand in public naked, they aren't. I salute them!

I have posed as a woman of the night. However, the photos were taken in summer in my back garden. I am definitely not a super hero!!!!
