We have had some terrible weather here in Rome. When I say terrible I mean terrible. On biblical proportions.
I live in an area surrounded by canals and rivers. A beautiful area but many years ago it was a lake. And when it gets bad it returns to being a lake. I have not had the inconvenience of some people who have had water in their homes. Nonetheless it has sometimes been difficult getting out my driveway as the track that leads to the main road is full of water. It is getting better now but the garden is full of water.
Now during the weekend I started to contemplate buying an inflatable raft just in case rivers did overflow etc. And I have even dreamt of building my own Ark.
If I did build an Ark, who would I allow in it? Well before people were allowed on board I would fill it with food. The food wouldn't be 2 by 2. It would be sacks of pasta barrels of olive oil, casks of tomato sauce etc.
Once the food was on I would then contemplate how I would occupy my days.
And of course I would need some friends to idle the time with.
So men could enter 2 by 2 but maybe 4 by 4 would be more my scene.
Men are great for some things but I would also need women who I could gossip to.
What is the point of having all these men if I cannot chat about them to a friend??
I would need a load of magazines and some really good books too.
Sex is great but I would be too sore if I was fucking all the time.
It would be good to have an interesting read for the moments I was not rocking about.
