I have been trying to find a book that I read a few years ago. It was a haunting, strange book written by a famous Japanese writer. It was about getting old. I have recently found some details about the book, see below.
The House Of Sleeping Beauties
Nobel prize-winning author Yasunari Kawabata is noted for his combination of a traditional Japanese aesthetic with modernist, often surreal trends. In these three tales, superbly translated by Edward Seidensticker, erotic fantasy is underlaid with longing and memories of past loves.
In the title story, the protagonist visits a brothel where elderly men spend a chaste but lecherous night with a drugged, unconscious virgin. As he admires the girl s beauty, he recalls his past womanizing, and reflects on the relentless course of old age.
In the book the proprietor of the brothel drugs the young women prior to the visit from elderly gentlemen. The clients are embarrassed to be seen. They cannot bear to see the eyes of the young women when they are naked as our eyes cannot lie. They want to feel young again. Their body may have aged but their mind remained young and desiring.
The reason I write this is that I often get nervous gentlemen visiting me who are afraid I will not want to play with them because of their age. Can I make a statement here that I am very happy to play with men of all legal ages.
The only problem I have is playing with those barely legal. I find 18-23 year olds an ordeal and often impossible.
Older men make me feel more secure. more appreciated and they often bring into the bedroom fun and laughter. Good sex can be serious and intense but it can be equally good when it is fun and relaxed.
I am sure that my eyes will not betray me when I say that I am very happy and contented to have bedroom fun with elderly gentlemen.
They bring experience and appreciation that these moments together are valued and important. Age does matter but not in the ways most people think.
Look into my eyes!!!!!
