I have been very amused with the goings on in the Italian elections. The country seems gripped with intrigue and incredulation (is this a word!). The one thing that captures my imagination is when the political commentators talk about a hung parliament.
Hung has a number of different meanings but the one I remember most is meaning having a large penis. So a well hung parliament would mean all the politicians had big ones. I think if this was the case politicians might find themselves more popular.
Big cocks and cocks in general do often occupy my thoughts. .And it is difficult to get away from them. Rome graffiti is full of cocks.
These are often large and spewing out semen!
On the other hand we do have a number of statues around Rome that display their cocks and these tend to be rather disappointing.
I have often wondered why they have rather small cocks. Is this because a big cock would take the eyes away from the other parts or is it to not shock us all?
Or could it be that the sculptor was gay and was depicting a suitable penis for his anus? What ever the reason I am a little disatisfied when casting my eyes over a Micheangelo statue and seeing the rather tepid middle leg.
So I must be one of the few Italians taking pleasure in a well hung parliament. If anyone wants to play politics please get in touch.
