Fun,Fantasies and Fannies

Now for any American reader, when I talk about fanny I am talking about my vagina.

 I know fanny for Americans means bum or ass. Which can cause problems. Think about an expression like 'Put your fanny on the seat'. Which is a common expression for sit down. Now if you said this in the Uk??????

I digress, but it is fun to digress!!! This blog is all about digression.

Now August is a hot, heady,sweaty month. It is also a time most Italians take a  break. It is a bit like the 4th July but without the British bit. It is when family and friends get together. It is a time for not working.

Nonethless, some people have to work. We have forest fires everyday where I live and I would hate all the firemen to take a break. By the way I like firemen!!!! I like the fantasy of a heroic fireman with large hose in hand coming to rescue me. And  I digress again!

Consequently, there are many people in and around Rome that are not doing what the rest are doing. Now, there is no need to get depressed about this. There are a lot of positives.

1. You are not going to be stuck in traffic for hours and hours.
2. You are not going to be stuck with relatives you do not particularly like.
3. You are not going to be stuck like a sardine on a crowded beach.
4. BUT you could be stuck in me!!!!

I am not going away over this period so will be available. And maybe as the weather is hot we should contemplate some very hot situations which we can remember for a long time. The game would be called the '3Fs', Fun,Fantasy and Fanny!!!!! Or even Fantasy,Fun and Fanny!!!!
