Christmas for me is a magical time. It is a time when most of us feel generous, when most of us feel the need to embrace our fellow man. And I do like generous men who like to embrace!

Winter is calling!

It was difficult getting out of bed this morning. My bed was warm and inviting and outside was not! So I am looking for friends who can keep me in bed for most of the day. So if there is anyone who wants to keep me warm and to do some exercise to create heat then please get in touch.

I was thinking of winter games we could play.

I like to sing at Christmas!

I do not miss the rain. I do not miss the cold. I do not miss the food!!! However, there are many things I do miss about the UK and one of them is music. Great music comes out of the UK and music is everwhere.

This time of year it waltzes out of schools, it parades out of churches and it marches out of government buildings. Everyone is singing or wants to sing. Even yesterday watching a football match in the UK the normal stadium chants have changed and have a very festive ring to them. It is great!

Christmas Celebrations!

I have always enjoyed Christmas and New Year. I prefer to spend Christmas in the UK and New Year in Naples. The British do know how to celebrate December 25th but Italy definitely knows how best to celebrate December 31st.

Nonetheless, it does look as if I will be in Italy and in particular Rome, for both celebrations. Rome can be good too and I am looking forward to celebrating both events with a bang!!!!

Christmas is a time when a jolly man enters your home with a present. He enjoys drinking and food so he is a fun man to have around. He carries a sack and the sack is usually full. I do like a man with a full sack! He usually enters during the night and is very quiet. I like a man who enters during the night but am also happy to be entered during the daytime too.
